Misi Studio, a unit of  C.V. Misi (partnership), engages in several businesses using the internet as its medium. The studio's first E-commerce venture is Artaku Gallery, the first online art gallery which offers quality paintings from various parts of Indonesia. The website deploys simple graphic and lay-out and emphasizes on high quality photography enriched with historical account of the painting development in Indonesia. Artaku Gallery has since been listed in more than 150 directories worldwide and receives a steady stream of visitors each day. Simple lay-out but high quality visual and in-depth representation of the subject at hand later becomes the theme and hallmark of every Misi Studio's presentation.

This is reinforced by the launching of an art forum through the net which was christened Ajang Seni Artaku, a website dedicated to art lovers. The forum presents interesting articles of art achievement by reknown artists. Again the theme emphasizes on quality visual and thorough representation. The forum's bilingual format is also intended to add stimuli to the development of arts and the creative use of internet in Indonesia.

Misi Studio also embarks into the world of astrology with a unique website named 8-Tanda (literally: 8-Signs). Our study reveals that since olden days the highly tolerant societies of   the Indonesian sultanate had not only accepted but even blended the various religions and far-flung cultures brought here by travellers with their own. On the other hand, the 8-Signs is a facinating belief supported by astrological mathematical formulae. It was handed through the oracular inscriptions 3500 years ago and practiced jealously by generation of Kings and their agricultural society. Hitherto, the practice of 8-Signs is still a common and popular thing for the people of Taiwan and Hong Kong and gaining momentum in China as more overseas Chinese expand their activities there. Misi Studio considers 8-Signs more from its long historical and rich cultural aspect. However, the studio sincerely hopes its introduction would bring benefit from this truly ancient and remarkable knowledge while concurrently broaden our view of other people's culture. Written only in Indonesian language, it is purely intended for the local community.

We have another website which illustrates our point, a website which helps to promote religion, tourism and a better appreciation of our heritage, Jin De Yuan Temple. The temple dated as far back as the 17th century is probably the oldest and largest Buddhist temple in Indonesia. It is full of magnificent (at least 19th century) artifacts and architecture.
